We are an advanced feline and canine rp site that takes place in the lost jungles of Vikos. The life forces of the canines and felines living here are tied to their soul stones. With their soul stone, they are able to grow in power and strength. Without it, they will weaken and die. Many abilities and powers can be acquired from the soul stones. How powerful you get, is up to you though.

FALL - The temperature is starting to fall a bit as it starts to cool off. The sun isn't as hot and the relief from the heat is much needed.

The tom trotted through the Middle Class streets, twirling his long, thin tail slowly in circles. His small round ears flicked slowly back and forth as he listened to the hustle-and-bustle of the area; Merchants struggling to sell, citizens struggling to heckle down the prices of the merchant's items. Kittens and cubs running about in childish play nearby; Older juveniles playing pranks on their older senior citizens.
He chuckled softly as he sat down in a patch of sun, loving the way it hit his back in just the right angle. Listening to day-to-day life, he catwatched, wondering if there was anyone up for conversation on this particular day. His eyes, wide and gray-green, were friendly and welcoming.

Talia was on city guard duty as was usual for a day like today. She strolled down the street, her tiger partner venturing around the opposite edge of the streets to patrol while she took the near side. Her light blue eyes scanned the crowds of people strolling about and stopping to chat as well.
It was then that she tripped over the tail of a cat. Stumbling and then falling over her own paws, she huffed in annoyance before climbing to her paws again and shaking the dust from her short pelt. Hissing with frustration, the small ocelot swung her head about in search of the tail responsible for tripping her up. "You should really watch where you put that big old tail of yours!" She snapped, raising her brows a bit as she eyed the larger cat, waiting for an apology.
Musa turned as he felt small paws take a tumble on account of his long, winding tail. His whiskers twitched and he turned, expecting the culprit to be a fat-pawed kitten; No! Rather, it was an adult cat - an ocelot. He hadn't really met a whole lot of those in his time, he only knew that they were small... Indeed, they were quite small! He flattened his little ears in embarrassment as she eyed him angrily, feeling guilty.
"I'm sorry," He said softly, Standing up and putting his tail straight in the air to avoid further mishaps. "I didn't realize my tail was blocking the walkway. It won't happen again." He said sincerely, dipping his head in apologetic respect. "What can I do to make it up?"

Talia was use to the rude cats that tended to wander the streets and while she wasn't exactly a kind hearted soul herself, she was one to see reason. She was just much more use to others treating her lesser due to her small size. When the feline whose tail she had tripped over apologized and seemed most sincere, she let her ruffled fur lay flat and licked her chest fur to make it lay flat as well.
Clearing her throat, she raised her chin and blinked slowly before replying. "It's fine, I should've been looking where I was going." She began though her blue eyes were now looking this new feline over. He was a different looking fellow and she didn't think that she had seen many of his kind before. Though ocelots were pretty uncommon as well. "You could tell me your name. I'm Talia, city guard." She introduced herself in order to get past the mishap and hope to clear the air. She didn't need more enemies than she already had and luckily this fellow seemed to be pretty understanding.
The reddish brown cat flicked his tail and sat down, this time carefully curling his tail around his dainty paws rather than letting it lay flat on the city pavement. He licked his own chest as well, his ears flattened in deep embarrassment. I should have considered the other cats around me, He told himself, somewhat dissapointed that he'd caused another cat to trip.
"My name is Musa." He meowed, twitching his ears. "Nice to meet you, Talia. I'm just a citizen, though I aim to get a proper job eventually..." He mused, his eyes meandering about the street before him. "Are you on-duty right now?" He asked curiously. He'd never met a guard - and he didn't expect a guard to be a small cat such as an ocelot, but he was open to such ideas. Any cat could take on a job as long as they had the mind for it, right?

Talia dipped her head when the tom cat spoke his name. "It's a pleasure to meet you and your tail." She replied with a teasing smile as she sat down near him. Glancing over her shoulder, she saw her tiger partner talking with a couple cats across the street and she smiled a bit before turning back to face Musa. Her thoughts briefly wandered to her partner and how she wouldn't be able to do her job if it hadn't been for him. He'd taken a chance on her and taken her on as his partner when the rest of the guard had mocked her size. She owed him more than she would ever be able to repay.
Nodding her head when he asked if she was currently on duty, she nodded her head towards her partner before turning back to Musa. "I am indeed. The tiger over there is my partner." She replied, smile on her face as she tilted her head a bit to study the male cat. "What is it you'd like to do Musa?" She asked when he said he meant to get a job soon.
He blinked in surprise when she said that her partner was a Tiger. Goodness gracious, he thought in surprise. What a mismatch! He kept these words to himself, however, as he searched the crowd and eventually found the giant striped feline. Nodding in acknowledgement, he turned back to his coversation partner, flicking his tail slowly as he considered what jobs were available.
"Nothing's struck me just yet." He said thoughtfully, "Though I am considering being a self-employed artisan. Make pretty things for the average cat's home, get stuff for 'em, everyone wins. That sort of thing." He said, kneading the ground in a relaxed fashion. "Although, if push comes to shove, I could try my whiskers at playing the part of a Merchant. I might even be both." He smiled at the idea, using his nimble tail to gently rock his Soul Stone back and forth as it hung from a chain 'round his neck.
"If worst comes to worst," He admitted, "I might end up being slapped around in the Army. Wish me luck if that happens; These claws are for climbing, not fighting." He said, stretching out his little claws to further explain his non-army-material predicament; Indeed, they were slightly curved and thin at the tips, made perfectly for hooking into the bark of even the toughest, flakiest trees, and hoisting oneself into their branches. Certainly not for rending flesh, that was certain!

Her eyes remained on his as he looked through the crowd to find her partner before glancing back her way. She knew what he was probably thinking and figured she should explain the situation. After all, most cats would have had some kind of snarky comment to say instead about her being too small to be a guard but this tom hadn't. "He's the brawn that I'm very clearly lacking." She answered playfully, small smirk on her lips as she watched the tom's reaction.
Her blue eyes lit up a bit as he spoke of being a merchant or an artisan. She wished she had the skills needed to be either of those but she didn't. She'd found the right fit for her though in the guard. "Both of those sound wonderful. You look like a cat that would do well with either of those jobs." She began, tilting her head to the side a bit, smile on her face. "You'll have to let me know what you end up doing so I can come by your shop." She added, flicking the end of her tail as her eyes lowered to catch sight of his soul stone that dangled around his neck on a chain. Her own was fixed into a leather harness that held it in place on her chest. Her father had made it for her when she was younger because she'd always lose it or break the chain wrestling around with her brother.
A slight chuckle escaped her lips when he said he might end up in the army. From what she could tell of him so far, he didn't look like the type that would be fierce enough to be a soldier. "Might wanna consider the city guard before the army. I mean, if I can be a guard then you sure as hell could too!" She exclaimed, enjoying their conversation more than she would have thought.
