With their soul stone, they are able to grow in power and strength. Without it, they will weaken and die. Many abilities and powers can be acquired from the soul stones. How powerful you get, is up to you though.

FALL - The temperature is starting to fall a bit as it starts to cool off. The sun isn't as hot and the relief from the heat is much needed.
Soul Stones was created by Nala. The skin was created by Dorothia @ Adoxography. The tabbed sidebar was created by kimset of RPG D'. Plug ins were made by their respective PB member. All other character info belongs to their rightful owner. Mini profile belongs to Leif. Tiger image belongs to chunga-stock. Jungle image belongs to foolishsunsets. Pixels belong to Ails.
The Royals *King - The ruler of all who live within the city of Naxorus. Makes the final decisions on matters that affect the city and those living in it. Has the right to declare war and is expected to give his life to save the city if needed. If he is to fall, the queen or his offspring will take over. If no queen or heir is available, the general will take over until an election can be held to vote for the next king.
*Queen - Mate of the king, she is to produce heirs to the throne. Male or female offspring can both take the throne when old enough. Offers advice to the king and is on the counsel. Overlooks the schooling of the youngsters who live in Naxorus. Cares for her offspring and raises them to learn to rule. Sees to the day to day operations of the palace.
*Heir/Heiress - Children of the king and queen, they are to act responsibly and maturely. Are raised to learn how to rule fairly as well as how to fight and learn strategy of war. Will help with city decisions when old enough. The eldest offspring will take up the throne next regardless of gender. Help out their parents when and where needed.
The Army
*General - The highest rank in the army, there is one general who sees directly to the king. Helps make decisions on war and battle strategies. Part of the counsel. In charge of making sure the army is well prepared for battle and must approve all promotions within the army. Generals are appointed by the king.
*Colonel - Asked for input on strategies and battle plans. Help improve training strategies and implement new techniques and the use of different kinds of weaponry. Mainly in charge of coming up with ways to improve soldiers and make them stronger with new methods.
*Major - Draw up training plans and workouts. Run soldiers through their paces and give assessments to soldiers wanting promotions. Keep an eye out for special soldiers that may be a good fir for the smaller squadrons sent on secret missions.
*Captain - In charge of their own squad of soldiers. Must make sure that every soldier is at the top of their game. In charge of separating soldiers into squads based on their skill sets. Must work to improve the weak points of their soldiers. Also work on recruiting new soldiers.
Soldier - Entry level rank in the army. Any character joining the army must start here and work their way up. Fight in the battles and learn the techniques of war.
Shaman - Only one or two of these. They are responsible for working with the soldiers of all ranks to discover their abilities. Usually powerful and of a high soul stone level, they've mastered and seen many different abilities. Must search the ranks for soldiers that could be more powerful than normal. This position is usually held for a long period of time. These were also commonly a magikos before they joined the army.
The Guard *Royal Guard - These have proved their loyalty or were high ranked in the army and due to an injury or some other instance, had to quit active duty in the army and now work in the palace. Remain in the palace to keep the royals and high ranked officials safe. Also put in charge of setting up the patrol schedules for the city each day and night.
City Guard - The rest of the guards who are sent out to patrol all parts of the city. Guards are usually paired with a partner, especially if they are in charge of going on the night patrols or into the more dangerous parts of the city.
The Citizens
Citizen - Not everyone has to have a specific job if they live in the city. Those unsure of what to do, unemployed, etc. belong here.
Entertainer - Usually work in the underbelly of the city. They can be dancers for wealthy males that come into the bars or brothels in the Erebos Agora. Can also be ones that receive money for sexual acts. Can be male or female though females are more common. A frowned upon position though a large number of males take part in and enjoy their company. Usually have a boss who controls their profit and keeps them safe.
Merchant - These can cover a number of jobs. Can sell their home made products or items they have previously bought. Usually have shops or stands set up in the Agora. Can sell items such as animal hides, clothing, soul stone holder jewelry, armor, meat, wine, spirits, herbs, potions, medicines, etc.
Magikos - These have worked hard to discover their abilities as well as learn about other abilities the soul stones can give. Studied the stones and have usually mastered their own abilities so far. They help teach others how to harness their own soul stone powers. Commonly they charge a fee for their services.
Healer - Similar to the magikos, they focus their energy on learning the ability to heal others. There aren't a lot of true healers because one must have a high level soul stone to heal with nothing but their own two paws. Many lower level healers exist though they focus on using herbs and plants to heal and cure those in pain. Some sell their herbs, potions and medicines as well.
Criminal - The low lives of the city, these don't follow the rules well. Frequently found in the Erebos Agora and usually stay out of site as some of them are well known enough to be put on wanted posters. The guards are always on the look out for them, wanting to catch them red handed and bring them in. Always up to something and not smart to trust, they can be involved in a number of things from petty crime to murder.
*Archon - The leader of the Lucis Temple. The Temple is a place for those who are lost and wandering to come and stay for as long as they need. Decides where to send scholars for missions, what to record in their books and when to go on supply runs to the city of Naxorus. Also works closely with the leader of Naxorus and the alpha of Kyon to keep peace in the entire Vikos Jungle.
Healer - There are a few of these in the temple as wounded, sick and diseased creatures are always stumbling in. The higher level healers deal with the more seriously wounded while the lower level healers use herbs and other plants to heal and cure those that aren't as seriously ailed.
Scholar - Also quite a few of these call the temple their home. They help record information into books for others to read. They are trusted members of the temple and work closely with the archon. They are also the ones sent out on missions to obtain new information from different places that will also be recorded. Commonly accompanied by a hunter or two, the scholars travel to Naxorus, Kyon and other parts of the Vikos Jungle that are rarely visited.
Hunters - Usually those that have come to the temple to work on mastering, discovering and controlling their abilities. If they aren't able or interested in becoming a scholar, they will hunt for those that live in the temple as well as keep everyone inside the temple safe from an invasion if one were to occur. Also sent out on missions to protect the scholars as they seek out more information and the soul stones and the world in general.
*Alpha - Leader of the canine pack. Can be held by either a male or female. Makes sure the pack is well taken care of and day to day operations run smoothly. Also in charge of meeting with the leader of Naxorus and the leader of the Lucis Temple to keep the three regions on good terms.
*Beta - Second in command of the canine pack of Kyon. In charge of tending to the smaller day to day operations such as patrols and such that the alpha doesn't have time to take care of. Organizes hunting parties, border patrols, etc. Can be held by either a male or female. Work closely with the alpha and are in charge while the alpha is away. Position usually filled by the alpha's choice.
*Kurios - Held by only one. A position common to the magikos or shaman of Naxorus. Well educated on the ways of the soul stones. Has usually reached a high soul stone level and mastered their own abilities so far. Can be a male or female. Works with the others in the pack to learn and control their abilities. Informs the alpha of any that may turn to dark magic with their soul stone. Sometimes travels to the cities with the alpha. Is well respected and councils the alpha as well.
Scout - Can be either male or female and there are usually quite a few of these. They are in charge of going on border patrols to make sure no one is trespassing on pack territory without permission. Assigned to re-established the border scent markers. Keep an eye out for possible danger.
Hunter - Can be either male or female and there are usually quite a few of these. They are in charge of going out on hunting patrols to bring back enough prey for the pack. They can work on their own or in a small or large group. Must make sure the elders and the pups eat before they get to.
Healer - Usually taken by a female but can also be a male. There is normally one, sometimes two of these. They are charged with healing those who are injured. Can be a high soul stone level and use their healing abilities or be a lower soul stone level and use herbs and plants to heal.
Omega - These can be male or female. The lowest rank of the pack. One obtains this position if they are exiled for using dark magic or if they have gotten in trouble for something or another. Commonly the outcasts, they can live with the pack if the offense wasn't very serious and they are only on a probationary time but they can also be outcasts living in the outlands if their offense was serious enough to get them kicked out of the pack.
Jungler - These are the ones who aren't sure where they want to live just yet. They can be loners or live with a small group. Later they can also choose to join the city of Naxorus, Lucis Temple or Kyon but for right now they just want to roam on their own, not conforming to the life of the other regions just yet.
Dark Seeker - Usually the ones who are up to no good, they are interested in the darker ways of the soul stones. They tend to keep to the darker parts of the jungle as they work on growing in strength. They can join others like them or stay on their own. Either way they aren't ones to be trifled with.
Light Seeker - The exact opposite of the dark seekers, these are the ones who wander the jungle with good in their hearts. They may be looking for somewhere to belong, wanting to travel a little or be looking to help others and learn the good ways of the soul stones. Either way, they will usually help others while on their journey.
