Contrabelle is a thieving little shit with no ambition in life, but she's fairly easy-going and highly independent. The Cat's Cat, she calls herself. She enjoys taking naps and she's fairly content with her lot in life, even if it's not always the most comfortable.

You can usually find her lounging about in the sun atop perilously high cliffs, without a care in the world, or sleeping in trees, or following travelers around in the undergrowth. Her favorite places are high, cold, and sunny. She currently resides in the jungle outside the Katharos Falls.

Friends: Contrabelle is open to being friends with anyone, and likes making people feel comfortable with her. If you want to be her friend, she'll make it seem like the two of you have known each other since pup/cubhood. She's non-judgmental and protective, and she'll fight beside you if you'd ask her, but she knows when to stay in her lane and let her buddies fight their own battles. She hates seeing people upset and loves telling jokes and anecdotes or putting herself in harms way just for the laughs.

A good way to make nice with Contra is to simply talk to her, ask her what she's up to and how her day has been, and support her pranks and petty thefts when she admits to them. She respects honesty and bluntness, and feels most comfortable with those who have a good sense of humor. Try not to use a lot of imperatives with her, she doesn't take kindly to figures of authority and direct commands.

Foes: While she's not opposed to fighting, she's more likely to mess with an enemy psychologically. In a crude, passive-aggressive way, that is. Expect broken and lost valuables and nasty little "regards" coming your way. She'll forget long before she forgives, anywhere from a few hours to a few weeks depending on the severity of the crime that's put you on her blacklist. If she needs to fight she'll walk into the scramble with gusto, often forgetting that she's not much bigger or stronger than a pallas cat. She has very dirty and very sharp claws, however, and she knows how to use them in rude ways. Don't fight the dirtball: even if you win, you'll have fought the dirtball.

If you'd like to piss off Contra, tell her that she can't do something or go somewhere, voice your opinions on her roll-with-the-punches lifestyle, lack of hygiene, and petty thefts, or be a figure of authority and order. She hates all that, and loathes being ordered around.

Lovers: She's very gay and doesn't pay much attention to what sexuality her quarry is: if it's a female and within hearing range, she'll give it a shot. She's very flirty and somewhat rude, but she tries for charming rather than creepy. Whether she succeeds or not is in the eye of the beholder. As far as true romance goes, she's capable of loving more than one feline at a time. While she's afraid of genuine commitment, she's highly affectionate and teasing when in love. 

If you want to truly catch Contra's eye, flirt back and attempt to match her teasing. She enjoys a challenge, and a good way to hook her is to play the mouse to her cat. Even better yet, be friends with her first. She purrs often and easily and her soft spot is between her shoulder blades.
