APPEARANCE

Vino is a lithe and muscular cheetah with strong hind legs that are good for running great distances and jumping onto high surfaces. He was born with the king cheetah mutation and has two black lines that run from the back of his neck all the way to the base of his spine. His mane is messy and spiky, giving him a wild appearance. His tail is lean and thick, balancing him perfectly. Its usually held straight, and firm behind his back. His eyes are the color of deep amber.

PERSONALITY

Reserved and dignified Vino gives off an aura of a mature and put together being beyond his years, whether this is because he is a father or because he's hardened with tough experiences it is not known. Vino is dedicated towards the well-being of those he cares about particularly his son Hyro, he will stop at nothing to protect him and ensure a good life for him. Vino is responsible and can be entrusted with tasks without fear of failure on his behalf, he will always do what is right even if it is not always the easiest choice. He is immensely brave and faces any challenge head on, despite being weaker he uses his speed and agility to his advantage whenever facing danger.

Vino can be quite relentless in his decisions, he will rarely change his mind once it's been made up. He sticks hard and true to his beliefs and always stands his ground when they are challenged, because of this it is quite hard to get him to do something or agree to something if it is not favorable to him. Patience has also been known to not be one of his virtues. Raising a hyper active cub has cut whatever tolerance he's built up in half and he might snap easily if tested.

Being relatively calm normally he keeps a close eye on others, observing the actions and patterns of those around him. He likes to know who he associates with in order to understand them and sometimes has even been known to mimic them accidentally. Because of this he also tends to be skeptical of others, reading their body language and assessing whether to believe them or not. He never takes anything at face value and makes sure to get all the facts first.

HISTORY

Solas and Senna where mates of convenience rather than love, they both had similar statuses in their clan and did their duty in helping it flourish. They had a relatively small litter of 2 cubs, however only the larger one they named Vino made it into adolescence, the younger sibling dying from a weak immune system. Vino grew and learned by watching the other cheetah's of his clan, his father had a very weak presence in his life and eventually none when he was banished after being discovered hoarding supplies and food.

As his clan traveled eventually they came across a group of wanderers, one called Acacia walked with them. His clan accepted the new members and they began traveling together. Vino and Acacia hit it off fast, they where an insuperable hunting team that guaranteed meals for the clan, eventually love blossomed and they became mates, eventually leading to her birthing him a son which she named Hyro.
It was good and simple life for the time being, Hyro spent his early years spoiled by loving parents and a strict grandmother.

As the lands got colder and meals where becoming scarce, the cheetahs suffered many losses. Vino's mother, who was becoming frail with age was one of the first to go. Eventually, they came across a carcass, while Cheetah's are no scavengers by any means hunger was getting to them and they began to feast from it however not everyone was able to eat as soon enough they were chased off by multitudes of savaging animals. Disease began to impact the clan, they had no healer to help them and soon enough the creatures began dying out one by one. Vino was terrified for his family, he made the decision to leave in hopes of not contracting the disease. Vino had heard of a nearby jungle that offered habitat for many felines and those that new the art of healing. His small family began to travel there but his mate Acacia quickly began to show signs of the disease, despite their attempts to make it to the jungle in time she passed before arriving leaving Vino to care for Hyro alone. 

After mourning the cheetah became more resilient than ever, he would come out ahead and find a home for him and his cub.
