Psuche Petros [What If...?]

For the most of us, the history we give our characters is for a reason, but sometimes it makes you just wonder...What if that fateful event that set them on their course in life didn't happen? What if they didn't have the opportunities you set for them? Or you deprived them of the opportunities they have had? This thread is essentially made so you can get all your alternate universe muse out of your system and for those who are more curious about your characters than what you have presented to them in cannon. Don't worry, there is at least one person here who cares about your character. [Spoiler: It is me. I spent the whole day reading through everyone's app.]


I guess I will go first~



This is actually a what if that I hadn't even pondered until I started to make the thread! Its so natural for Larue to be the way she is. I feel like her core personality wouldn't have changed much, she would still be very motherly and ruminate on things too much, but its her actions and how it warps her way of thinking that would turn her stone dark. She would've probably had an experience during her pregnancy that really traumatized her and made her realize how dangerous the jungle is. With her growing powers, she would start carving out a safe place for her children to live...but by killing off anything she deemed "too dangerous". By the time they are born, she would've already been on the path of pure tyranny,ready to smite anything that won't bend the knee to her and her future childrens. Since it would be a little harder to kill the mother of the cubs when they need her milk, she could probably get pretty far. She'd be a lot more controlling of her cubs than she is now and would put the idea in their head that her cubs could mold the whole jungle out to be whatever they want it to be. You know, plant that seed of evil so that when she finally gets axed there is the chance that she is just passing the torch.

As far as powers go, she would still have the same ones and the same color. She would still have her wings and they would be the same color. As for the air thing, it would be mostly used to conjure storms. She could also probably do some messed up things like pull the breath out of someone she is trying to threaten. Obviously, most birds are not very interested in being around her in this au, but the buzzards and vultures really like her. She still wouldn't be too keen on using her shadow powers, but she would happily shapeshift. Her animal, in an ironic twist, would be a dove, as they are a symbol of motherhood. Plus, its the one that most compliments her powers.
