APPEARANCE

Considered the fastest of the land animals, Killian is no exception to this rule as a common cheetah male. He's slender, long-legged and built for speed with a long tail to aid in balance and sharp turns. His eyes are a pretty black colour and he's rather tan, almost yellow in colour with a white underbelly. He's got spots along along his fur coat, a smaller head, little ears and 'tear stripes' which are notable for his kind. However Killian is a little different in that he's a little bigger than your average cheetah and a little more muscular given that's quite the active fighter. Not to mention the scars that he's bore from previous fights and even a slightly burned tinge to the fur along the tip of his tail. He also oddly enough has a hind back leg with a white sock, hardly any spots at all on it. Can reach speeds of up to 70 mphs, stands at about 3.2 feet high (shoulder wise) and weighs about 123 pounds give or take.

SOUL STONE

Currently he's at the Pente level meaning he's gained enhanced strength and immunity to diseases and are able to heal quicker. He's stone also glows dark blue. He typically wears it attached to a piece of leather which acts as a sort of collar.

PERSONALITY

First and foremost, Killian is a fighter and most importantly he doesn't like seeing others being mistreated. Which can also be his downfall because he does tend to play the hero card and try to fight for those who need help. Now that just may be the soldier in him, but he's always been protective of those he cares about. Not to mention he's very good at adapting to new situations, playing any role without much prior knowledge. Which also makes him a bit of a deceptive little fellow though he tries to be as honest as physically possible. He's also got a bit of a temper and often times tends to act tough, cold and distant around those he doesn't trust particularly in the male department. Bit of a hopeless romantic, he can sometimes let the emotions get the best of him including his temper which can easily be triggered if the right buttons are pushed. He's got an aversion to fire after a forest fire accident and he doesn't really like to be touched unless it comes to a fight. Oddly enough despite being the kind of guy that likes a fight, he's not without remorse and has often times been upset with his kills. He's even cried on a few occasions when no one's around after a successful hunt, thanking the animal for feeding him. What else? He doesn't like the taste of blood or messes, and after his near-death experience thinks he's hearing things from 'beyond the grave.' Not that he tells anyone about this.

HISTORY

Why his mother ever fell in love with the likes of his father, Killian would never understand as he came into this world, followed a couple minutes later by his younger brother. He was quite a nasty piece of work and certainly was no father of Killian's though he'd never admit it out loud. He was vile, abusive and had a temper that could scare just about anyone while his mother was as sweet as can be always telling her sons to do good in their lives. They say usually that opposites attract, but Kili felt that perhaps this union was not one that fell under this category. He was a high ranking official and in his thoughts the young cheetah believed he was far kinder to his soldiers than to his own family. Still, he tried very hard to listen to his mother who was constantly telling them to say nothing. 'Better I take your father's anger than either of you,' she'd always say after a particular bad beating in which her sons had to care for her. It was seeing his father that made Kili promise himself to never allow himself to be that man. It was a harsh existence and while Kili pleaded with his mother to leave with them, she would only deny saying they had a good life and would otherwise parish. Perhaps it was that sole reason that Kili never left when chance came figuring that someone had to look after their mother and his brother. He could have left, but he stayed to try and keep his family together and prevent his father from hurting Thorn.

He was just barely two when he awoke to the smell of smoke though most of that night was in all honesty a blur. He remembers yelling and running but not much else aside from trying to get out. The odd thing was he remembers standing in above his body a moment and even seeing a strange white light. Next thing he remembered was waking up coughing on smoke and his mother rushing to him, checking him over along with the medics. Apparently he'd been nearly dead before they brought him back, though he never entirely told anyone what he'd witnessed. Certainly was a strange feeling given he could swear he heard and saw things that didn't seem plausible. Not long after that night, things started to get really weird for Killian given that he often felt as though he was hearing things that no one else could. In fact he only really told his younger brother a couple weeks after the event who told him to keep it quiet since it wasn't exactly common for anyone really. So he did keep it quiet and pushed himself into training given that his father wanted him to become a soldier in the corps. Kill was disgusted with the idea, but at the same time felt it best since he knew Thorn would never wished that life. He was more of a creative soul, a day dreamer and certainly not fit for fighting.

Things continued from there at a dull and boring pace with training taking up most of his time, though at least it kept the 'voices' in his head from getting to him. And for a while things were okay even if his father was still an abusive man who didn't deserve a family as nice as Killian's. Though it wouldn't be until he was 5 that things changed after a particularly bad day with the two of them coming home soaking wet and miserable. Though Kili was probably in a far better mood since he was doing marvellously, recalling that he was suppose to get something to eat that day. So he did only to come back to a horrific scene of his father taking out his frustration on their mother while Thorn lay cowering in the corner. Something snapped in Kili that day as he went at his father, overpowering his father given he'd taken him by surprise. They scuffled about and yet surprisingly Kili managed to bring his father down, after removing his soul stone and taking him by the throat. His mother was horrified by what happened, knowing that nothing good to come of any of this. In a last act of unconditional love, she suggested they bury the body making sure nobody spoke of what happened only claiming that their father went missing. It was the last thing she did for him given she told him that she never wanted to see him again. He left shortly after in the middle of the night spending most of the time in between places while continuing his work as a soldier often getting condolences for their missing comrade.

Killian would of course feign heartbreak at his father's disappearance, even though he was glad to see the monster dead. It was some time during his duties as an official city guard that he stumbled upon a strange place. After all, he was suppose to report odd behaviour and this place certainly reeked of it. He told his commanding officer who suggested that he go undercover for a couple of months to see if it was worth dealing with. So Killian agreed, as he got himself a job as a bouncer, going by Kili since it wasn't common knowledge as to who he was. It took some sweet talk and convincing before she eventually conceded in allowing him to become apart of her establishment which so happens to be a brothel.
