APPEARANCE

This little vixen is no different in appearance then your average red fox but for those that may meet her multiple times they might notice her neat appearance . Her lithe and small body is covered in fluffy fur ranging from predominately red to sparse areas of black and generous amounts of white. The grand majority of Ebele's pelt is red with her hind quarters and tail being peppered with black fur, the only areas completely black being her forelegs and part of her ears. The lower half of Ebele's face is a white, going down from there her chest becomes grey with areas of white along the edges.

SOUL STONE

Ebele's soul stone is dark blue and embedded in a silver bracelet on her left paw. Her soul stone grants her enhanced strength and resistance to illness.

PERSONALITY

The Silent Scholar would be an apt title for Ebele. The little vixen is level headed and possesses a lot of patience, preferring to calmly analyze a situation before acting. Add this to her cool demeanor and to some she comes off as emotionless but that is not true at all. Ebele is compassionate, willing to lend her ears to the woes of others and even offer advice if they so desire. She has a major soft spot for young ones be they felines, canines, or other animals and will act more sweet and motherly toward them.

Being buried in scrolls and books, cataloging endless stacks of material, this work Ebele has no issue doing, loving every bit of it. Knowledge is something she prizes greatly and prefers that over brawn which is why she is always looking to expand her repertoire of information. This can lead her into trouble when she gets too curious about thing but it also helps her avoid or get out of dangerous situations such as physical fights. She takes her job as a scholar seriously and will get offended when others talk down about the position.

But Ebele is not always composed and patient. When under heavy emotional pressure from those close to her she will start to show mild distress while at the sight of extreme or unnecessary violence her reaction will vary from mild to major distress.

HISTORY

Ebele was born in a litter of two to a small nomadic group of foxes. Her older brother Jabari was fierce and combative while Ebele was his opposite, cool and preferring negotiations.  Ebele was quite close to her older brother and took the role of being the rope that pulled him back when got too cocky. While she took in the skulk's teachings of using one's wit in place of more physical methods her brother did not and would often become a source of agitation for her brother due to Ebele's complacency with the passive ways of their skulk.When he began expressing a strong desire to be more combative to their foes Ebele was there to be the voice of reason though as time went on she started to realize that her older brother's desire to fight instead of run would not be erased, so she came to accept this and supported him and in turn he protected Ebele while she pursued her more mental interests. It would go on like this for a good five years, her elder brother providing protection for Ebele and the rest of the group, with a couple other foxes joining the more active role, while they roamed about filling their heads with stories but as the years went on Ebele started to grow dissatisfied with just orally obtaining information and keeping it all in her head.

Around this time Ebele along with her brother started to grow weary of the nomadic life, desiring to settle down somewhere permanently but the group held the idea that traveling and being nomadic was the best way. It was more safe to keep on the move and moving about afforded more varied experiences, but while the two understood that they still wanted to settle. Ironically the group was set in their ways and the siblings could not get them to agree to put down roots in one place. It did not take long for a rift in ideas to form between the two and their skulk and when they stopped off at Lucis Temple the brother and sister would come to make their decision. Ebele and her older brother choose to stay at the temple while the rest of the skulk moved on. Ebele was able to become a scholar at the temple while her brother was able to seek a more active role. The vixen loves her job and has no regrets about her decision.
