"Hear Me Roar"
Having a stomach full of food on such a warm and sunny day was making Tejas a little drowsy, but he fought it long enough to listen into the story...divided family...brother is King...other brothers ran away...wait, did he hear that right? Most of the drowsiness was wiped away and Tejas lifted his head as he mulled over the words again. King? Like in King of Naxorus?
Oh, well now that he thought about it, Katsaros did seem very familiar. To think that kind of drama was going on in the royal family was crazy. Tejas supposed that every family has its issues. "Hey, its not rambling if it comes from the heart." Tejas said with a smile. His mother would always tell his sisters that. She might not be winning any mother of the year awards, but even she had her days.
Tejas got up and stretched before his stomach segmented him to the ground, rolling his shoulders until there was an audible crack and giving out a loud sigh. "So...if your bro is king, then you are a princess, right? Hows that for you?" he asked nonchalantly, hiding his genuine curiosity. What was it like to be a royal cat? The junglar could barely wrap his mind around the concept of a kingdom.

Remember all the things we wanted, now all our memories are haunted. we were always meant to say goodbye. even with our fists held high, it never would of worked out right. We were meant to die. I didn't want us to burn out, didn't come here to hurt you now, i can't stop. I want you to know that it doesn't matter where we'll take this road,
Seda watched his skull rise up from the ground suddenly, making her look at him briefly before looking back up at the bright blue sky. It was endless... So bright. Her amber eyes slowly closed, just for a moment as her mind ran free. And for only a moment, it felt like the past was the present.
It was dark out. The night sky blanket wrapped around the expanse over her head as the little adolescent crept out of the den. She had turned 2 just not too long ago, and.. well, life was good. It didn't bother her that her father was gone. It was for the best. He had been a good male once, and once had he loved her more than sick magic. But time had its deal with everything and everybody. Guess that was just how life worked, huh? Her lean and small body moved with relative ease, the elegance an adult lioness had showing in little bits. She moved in long strides, head held high as she welcomed the darkness. It was cold despite the covering of the trees and underbrush, the wind gently sliding through the leaves in a delicate manner. Bright amber eyes shone through the shadows. What was she searching for? Why was she out here? She wasn't quite sure... but.. something pulled her close. She wasn't sure what or why but there was an intensity in the air. She could feel it.
"Hey, it's not rambling if it comes from the heart." Her eyes snapped open, the voice of her companion pulling her mind away. The coldness that oddly was brought to her skin faded away. Her gaze shifted to the young tiger, offering a small grin. "Wise words for such a young male. Your guardian taught you well." She complimented before rolling onto her stomach and stretching out her limbs. "So... if your bro is king, then you are a princess, right? Hows that for you?" An ear flicked towards his direction briefly before shrugging her shoulders casually. "It's.. okay? I guess. I get respect and I have a high standing in the Lucis Temple, guess that's pretty cool. How about you? Big old high and mighty tiger got any rivals?" She asked with a light hearted smile, lifting off the ground to nudge his shoulder with hers playfully. "Ain't it scary, y'know, to be out here all by yourself?"

"Hear Me Roar"
Tejas wouldn't have an idea of what was wise and what wasn't. He lived a life of solitude and the only cats old enough to even qualify as wise were gone now. All he knew is that he had a bone to pick with his guardians, even beyond the grave and wherever else they could be. He huffed at the undeserved compliment to his mother. Clearly wisdom wasn't enough to survive out here.
And just as he had thought that to himself, Seda asked about his life in the jungle. The young tiger rolled onto his back as well, tucking his front paws into his chest and looking up at the sky. He gathered his thoughts and memories in the jungle together; there weren't that many yet, but there was enough of them to at least give Seda a clue as to what it is like.
"Everyone is your rival out here. Its a free-for-all in every way. Luckily, I was born a tiger so no other cat but an older tiger or lion would mess with me." Tejas chuckled heartily. He humbled himself suddenly, however, after a second thought hit him. "Things like snakes, crocodiles, and gorillas are more dangerous than other cats. You always have to keep your eyes peeled for everything out here..."
He lightened up quickly when she nudged him and asked about his fears. It was always a go-to way for him to gloat, and Tejas couldn't help but take pride in what he believed to be true. "Fear ain't in our blood, girl. Me and my sisters are not able to be afraid." he said with a chuff, rising to his feet to stretch before he got too comfortable in one spot; something you must always avoid in the jungle.
Remember all the things we wanted, now all our memories are haunted. we were always meant to say goodbye. even with our fists held high, it never would of worked out right. We were meant to die. I didn't want us to burn out, didn't come here to hurt you now, i can't stop. I want you to know that it doesn't matter where we'll take this road,
Seda stood by the young adult, an ear flicking towards him. "Everyone is your rival out here. It's a free-for-all in every way. Luckily, I was born a tiger so no other cat but an older tiger or lion would mess with me. Things like snakes, crocodiles, and gorillas are more dangerous than other cats. You always have to keep your eyes peeled for everything out here..." A tilt of her head came with her reaction, a couple of blinks of her eyes. It sounded dangerously exciting, almost a thrill for living kind of thing. A smile came to her face at his laugh before nodding. "Sounds like you know that ins and outs about the people around this place." She responded, a gear in her mind churning. If he knew what inhabited this place, he must know where Cadoc is, if he lived in here. A dangerous lion lurked in this jungle if so.
The enlightening of his expression made her grin spread just a minuscule larger. "Fear ain't in our blood, girl. Me and my sisters are not able to be afraid." A snort escaped her nose before rolling her eyes light heartedly. "Oh aren't you just a big tough guy?" She giggled, her tail brushing against his flank jokingly. However she glanced away, taking a more serious turn. She turned her attention to him, running her head under his chin, proceeding to rub her spine along the underside of his head like a domestic cat. She took a few paces ahead of him before looking back at him. "Tejas, if you ever meet a lion with the name of Cadoc, don't get yourself involved with him. He's a dangerous cat and I fear he will come hurt my family... if you ever find yourself in trouble or need of help, you can always come to me..." She offered a smile before the light returned in her gaze. "Okay?" She asked before slowly walking forward, it was time to return home. Notes: We can end it after your post if you'd like

"Hear Me Roar"
It was strange to Tejas how the lioness perked up at his explanation of what was just common sense to him. He couldn't help but wonder how safe and nice Naxorus city or Lucis temple must be. Or maybe he was just the weird one for sticking to broken conventions when life was so much easier for everyone else. But he would stick to it because it was the way he was born into. His mind began to brush over a darker thought; the thought that maybe the jungle really was that bad. That it was impossible for any cubs to make it this far alone. He shrugged the thoughts away with a grunt however, and got to his feet along with the other cat.
Tejas wiped the concern from his face and turned it into what he thought would be a hard-as-stone resolve, but it immediately cracked under Seda's actions and became more of a look of confusion. He...hadn't quite expected that. In fact, he wasn't quite sure what that was, but it certainly was different. When Seda rubbed against him, it sent a strange tingling sensation up his spine and along his temple. After a while of it being just awkward and foreign, the sensation was kind of...pleasant. Tejas relaxed again and flickered his tail, suddenly feeling a rush of unexplainable embarrassment run through him. Her words just kind of went into one ear and out the other. Lion. Dangerous. Hurting families. Typical jungle drama, but he felt like this matter extended a little beyond your typical jungle territorial disputes.
"Uh, y-yeah..." he finally responded, dragging his paw through the dirt. He took a moment to recognize that his answer made him sound a little feeble, so he cleared his throat and grunted a "Whatever." Afterwards, turning and walking the opposite way of the lion. The beautiful colors of his coat allowed him to melt into the surroundings as the sun began to set.
