We are an advanced feline and canine rp site that takes place in the lost jungles of Vikos. The life forces of the canines and felines living here are tied to their soul stones. With their soul stone, they are able to grow in power and strength. Without it, they will weaken and die. Many abilities and powers can be acquired from the soul stones. How powerful you get, is up to you though.

FALL - The temperature is starting to fall a bit as it starts to cool off. The sun isn't as hot and the relief from the heat is much needed.

A soft growl escaped Ebele’s maw when she unrolled the scroll before her. There was nothing wrong with the rolled up parchment, it’s surface was still intact and everything about it was neat, but there was still something wrong. Said scroll was not supposed to be tucked between two books or any books for that matter, rather it should have been placed in the space where scrolls were stacked atop one another. It was easy to have no care about putting things back in their correct places when one was not in charge of straightening up.
Ebele glanced over the scroll depicting the various colors of soul stone before rolling it back up and gently picking it up in her mouth. The red fox did have to admit however, that with few visitors coming to the temple as of late, this annoying mistake was not happening as often. Ebele muttered something but it was lost in the scroll blocking her mouth. She stopped at two holes vertically situated then rose up on her back legs to put the scroll back in the stack. “ There we go. “ she grunted and fell back onto all fours. Another look at the stack of scrolls and Ebele moved back over to where the books were.
" Soul stone abilities. Soul stone abilities. " she chanted under her breath as her bright eyes scanned the shelves. A red book halted her moving gaze prompting the vixen to pull it from the shelf. In one swift movement the pages were flipped open letting the scholar's eyes scan the page before her. Then Ebele raised her foreleg and looked at her own stone. Eleven years and I'm still Pente. Ah well." There will come a time for me I'm sure. " she spoke to herself and went back to the book in front of her.

Asra hadn't been living in the Lucis Temple for very long and she still felt like she was trying to find her place in the Temple. She didn't see herself ever becoming a healer, she got too frustrated with others and had a very small amount of patience. A scholar could be interesting but she didn't have the patience or desire to sit and write books or discover new knowledge. Adventuring could be fun, perhaps she could be a hunter or something along those lines.
The little tigress gave a sigh. She wished her sister was there. She would know what would fit Asra best. She was always the more sensitive and observant of the two. The golden tabby tiger moved down to the third level of the Temple where she caught sight of the red fox named Ebele. She knew her pretty well though she hadn't gotten the chance to talk to her much.
Her eyes caught sight of the fox looking down at her dark blue soul stone and the tigress tilted her head to the side a bit before stepping forward. "Ebele? What's the matter?" She asked, clearly able to see that something was on the fox's mind that wasn't sitting well with her.

This too will be remembered
The vixen's mind did not take long to lower itself into the pages of the book before her. Even though it was just a basic manual on what soul stones were and what they could do Ebele still took it to heart. She still took the novice aimed literature seriously. Sometimes it was the lesser readings that held the answers. Ebele turned a page then proceeded to dive into said page's contents, even as her sharp ears picked up the sound of soft footsteps and a heartbeat. It wasn't until someone addressed the fox that Ebele actually took her attention away from the book.
Bright amber eyes landed on the form of a small tiger. Asra, the name had popped into the scholar's head immediately upon looking at the feline. " Nothing that will kill me. " she replied warmly. If there was one thing Ebele liked about the young tiger it was her fur. Such a pretty coat and different than the ones of a few tigers she'd seen before. " Reading over a basic book on soul stones just got me thinking about my own. Nothing to worry about my dear. "
She went back to the book at hand and hooked a claw underneath a random page to flip it. Pages fluttered to the left side of the book until they stopped and revealed two pages that had been ripped clean apart. Ebele sighed and shook her head. Some creatures could so careless. Ebele brought her gaze back to the little tigress. " Come for some knowledge today? " the red fox asked before going back to flipping through the book. Two pages on and Ebele found another ripped page, this time it was completely torn out along a neat line. Someone must've really liked that page.

Asra hadn't been at the temple long and she wasn't really one that liked to stay in one place for very long but she knew that she was safest here. Here she could learn all about her soul stone as well as work on learning new abilities that her soul stone could unlock. She needed to be able to protect herself now that she knew what kind of dangers lay out in the real world. And now she was on her own. Her mother was dead, her brother and sister were missing and she was lost on her own.
The young tigress tilted her head to the side a bit as she listened to the fox speak. Nothing that will kill me. Reading over a basic book on soul stones just got me thinking about my own. Nothing to worry about my dear. Asra's pale golden eyes fell to the female's own soul stone which was the same color as her own. She was curious as to why the fox was still such a low level, especially since she lived in the Temple and all but she didn't dare ask. She hadn't even begun to work on her own soul stone, it could be a very challenging process. That was a thought that hadn't quite crossed Asra's mind yet.
Come for some knowledge today? Asra trotted up to stand beside the fox, the youngster taller than the female already. "I was hoping to start learning about the soul stones and how to get my other abilities. Could you teach me?" She asked hopefully, a small smile on her face though she didn't know if the fox would accept or not. Asra needed a mentor and from what she'd seen of Ebele, the female seemed like she'd make a fine teacher.
