APPEARANCE

Larue is a pale beauty; rather than the typical wheat brown pelt of her kind, she is a bright blond in color. Her underside is a pure frosted white.The light blue of her eyes have long gone, leaving them a slated gray in color. Despite her rising age, almost every bit of Larue is of musculature...though there isn't much. She is slightly smaller and shorter than the average lioness, her daughter standing higher than her. Larue has a scar along the left side of her face it runs along her upper maw and curves downward at her jaw, ending at the junction of the jaw and neck. There are streaks of darker color fur on her legs and and a patch between her brow where old spots from her youth are still visible due to her light fur.

Larue is practically a sylph to anyone who sees her. The wind rises beneath every step she takes, permanently muting them so long as her power lasts. She walks with her head held high and broad shoulders reflecting the symbols of her wings. When said wings expand, they are externally blond and feathered in appearance. Internally, they start frosted at their tips, gradiently darkening into a gold yellow and even an orange gold eye-like patterns at the center.

Despite being on the shorter and smaller side, Larue has an air of power to her. Her voice booms with it, though mostly coated in a honey-like soothingness, as she doesn't associate herself with unpleasant company. Her eyes constantly reflect her self purgings remains; a lioness with an interior of stone.

SOUL STONE

Blue: Achieved

Dark Blue:Her color is yellow; a brilliant and luminous color that forms in the spots on her leg, brow, and the very tip of her tail. They are rumored to be able to glow as bright as the morning sun. She personally refutes this claim, but it has been known to glow intensely bright, so much that it can illuminate the entire temple at its best intensity.

Light Blue: Mastered to a perfect invisibility.

Teal: Granted her the ability of air manipulation. She uses it to clear the sky of clouds or make the surrounding area rain, hide her scent and the sound of her steps, attract birds, and many, many more things.

Mint: She flies perfectly and effortlessly as if she was made for the sky. Avian affiliation grows even stronger.

White: They don't occur at the intensity as they used to, but most of her opinions on newcomers are guided by the small visions she has of them when she looks into their eyes until she gets to know them. She has many visions of her son Reeves when she dreams.

Gold: She has never resurrected anyone nor does she believe she can do it without bringing an unintended consequence that is worse than their death. Her healing powers, however, are extended to anyone in need.

PERSONALITY

Larue Katsaros personality has evolved from her many adventures and light. As a youth, she was proud, stubborn,humorous and feisty, but ultimately compassionate and romantic. She quickly learned to control her emotions, however, and turned into a quite mature and humble young lady, though her humor remained high, which tended to keep Vadik and herself on the friendship level for the longest; he was not always too keen of the idea of another lion being just as wild as he was, so they were mostly competetors. As a mate to Vadik, she was the voice of reason with his strong heart, but both had an insatiable curiosity and sense of adventure that led them to run away together like reckless youths. As a mother-to-be and ultimately first time mother, Larue was probably the most insecure that she had ever been in life. She wasn't sure if her experiences had prepared her to be a mother. What if she was too rough-pawed and they hated her? What if she was too lenient and they were spoiled beyond independency? The anxiousness spilled into her cub's early lives, and ultimately ,made her cling to Vadik for so long, despite knowing the changes he was going through. Unfortunately, the more she held on, the less he felt like the Vadik she knew. Her heart began to drift and replace its affection for the young. Her love for the old Vadik could live on in them...

As Larue stands now, she is an incredibly strong spirit with a passion that radiates all throughout her except in the most important place; her eyes. Her eyes can't help but reflect her hurt and her growing emotional guardedness, but outward she is a friendly and kind soul that offers help and beyond for the souls of the good. She is patient and has a knack for finding the good in those around her. Her tolerance for corruption, crime, and hostility towards minors is less than none and she is known to crack down rather harshly on sinners. Whats most interesting is her seemingly endless energy to take care of her duties, help others, hunt for herself, and enjoy life all at once. When she isn't being mother, teacher, or priestess, she is known to be a fairly pleasant and sometimes humorous company as one cannot completely erase their past.

This lioness is dedicated to her beliefs, what she does, and does it to her best of her abilities. She provides free healing for all the justly aligned both in and out of the temple and offers training to hone their power and medical capabilities. She starts her mornings early and does not end her day until the moon is high in the sky. A classic workaholic, but everything she does she feels she needs to do to forge this land into a better place. However, that passion has also made her become the most tender, supportive and loving mother possible. Very few get to see this side of her.

No other is greater than her at flying. She takes to the sky as easy as the birds, and combined with her air powers, she can keep the avian denizens as her allies. She reads them to better understand what happens in the land around her, adding to her seemingly endless wisdom.Even without her powers, she can easily outhunt those younger than her. Thanks to her experience and dedication, she can hunt with ease. But with them, she can turn completely invisible and use the air to muffle her steps and mask her smell...A skill that actually could be used in many other places.

Larue is by no means merciful to those with darkened stones. There isn't a day she doesn't regret ever discovering them, for not even the goldest of stones can make up for a chance of a stone turned tainted. She does not believe in a road to recovery once tainted and that a tainted stone overrides the soul and true character of the one who has it.In fact, if Larue had her way, she would have all in the temple train to destroy their impure stones if they see them, which she hopes releases their soul. But this is not her temple; it's her daughter's, and she is content with being the stone beneath her feet rather than the paw that guides her every move.

Larue has had her heart shattered, its pieces crushed into dust, and its dust scattered into the wind, and all of it can trace back to being her fault. If she hadn't been so curious, the stones could have easily been overlooked. But it wasn't, and she was forced to put her mate's restless spirit out of this world. This caused a fracture in her family that resulted in two of her sons leaving. She spends long moments reflecting over these things. Longer than one should, at least. She loves her cubs more than she loves herself. She would never believe any of them have the capacity to form a dark stone. The dark stone that took their father was pre-formed, so it was likely that he didn't even have the capacity to form one...he was just a victim. Afteral, no one is born or destined to be evil, right? However, this same denial also gives her hope that Reeves is somewhere out there and is perfectly healthy.

HISTORY

Larue was born in a pride that valued hunting over all. Unfortunately, she was significantly lighter than all the others around her, which made her stick out during hunting trips very often. Because of this, she was alienated from the rest of the family. Not going along with the hunts meant she wasn't getting valuable bonding moments and she was an outcast. She was forced to practice alone most of the time, but she didn't allow that to kill her spirit. She happily trained herself to make up for what she lacked in camouflage with stealth, and after one hunt led her far from home, she met Vadik and the rest was history.

Larue was so deeply in love with each and every one of her children for a good reason. Magnus embodied many of her beliefs and virtues. He was a reliable figure that had gotten her through the hardest times when she was still grief-stricken about Vadik. Seda was such a gentle and forgiving soul. She worried (and continues to worry) about the trauma of what she has done would cause Seda, but she lioness not only forgave, but did not allow it to darken her heart. Cadoc was one who could always bring a smile to her face. She loved the spirit in him, as it was what attracted her to Vadik in the first place. She found his pranks humorous, though she warned him often that his siblings weren't as tolerant as she was and he should worry more about being trustworthy than funny. Reeves had a mind like no other to her. He was certainly mama's boy, being smaller and less intuned with his powers. She respected his independence and always knew it wasn't in the same way as Cadoc, though she found herself the most curious about him.

Unfortunately for her, this history had taken quite a dark path. She had raised four great and strong spirited lions, and with that meant that a disagreement couldn't easily be made into an understanding. Cadoc accused her of betraying her mate and doing what she had done because she had fallen out of love with him. For the first time ever, she had a fit of rage, which she deeply regretted. She had told him that he would never inherit the position of King since he couldn't even forge trust in his family, and in an outrage he left. It was a heavy blow to Larue's spirit, which had only been hit harder when Reeves left not too long after. If there was anything in the world she could wish for, it would be to get her sons back and apologize to them before it is too late...
