FALL - The temperature is starting to fall a bit as it starts to cool off. The sun isn't as hot and the relief from the heat is much needed.

So I've got a little snippet about myself in my character's thread, but I wanted to make a little thread where we could talk about ourselves so that we can get to know each other a bit! Only share what you feel comfortable sharing, since we know the internet isn't always the safest place in the world. But yeah here goes
My real life name is Tiffany, though my online alias has always been Luna. The name had something to do with owls and Harry Potter roleplaying or something, and it originated on Neopets and just stuck so here I am XD My spirit animal is the bear, hence my signature. Uhm... I've currently got 5 pets (Bellabear the GSD, Arya the border collie mix, Buttlove the mutt, Quinn the cat and Ulysses S. Grant the betta fish), and I'm currently fostering 4 little bottle-fed kitties (Magnus, Tommen, Rue and an unnamed little boy) til they're old enough to go to forever homes. I'm 22 and am a senior in college, and will be a senior for another two years because I suck and changed my major late XD. I'm studying to be a veterinary technician. I'm in a sorority, an honors fraternity, and a veterinary fraternity, as well as a christian ministry on campus so I'm pretty busy with real life stuff during the school year. I'm from Kentucky and while I love it here, Florida is calling my name. I've been roleplaying for around 10 years or so, and my main focus was wolves for a long time. I think I prefer roleplaying male characters, they seem to be easier for me. I had my own site for several years but got kinda burnt out on the whole administrator thing and stopped roleplaying for a little while. I've also been a member of a couple harry potter sites, I was a moderator on a very large pokemone site (Mysste region), and am currently a moderator on Nyxcatti's horse site Equidae. Nyxcatti and I know each other IRL and live about a mile apart through the summer Hmm... I'm a Christian, and hope be going on a mission trip to Asia next year if my nerves don't get the best of me XD I'm open about my faith and would be more than happy to talk to anyone who's curious about it. I've got a really wide range of tastes as far as tv/movies/music goes. I listen to literally any kind of music, everything from heavy metal to bluegrass. My Little Pony and Game of Thrones are by far my favorite TV shows, and The Walking Dead is up there as well. I'm also a big time Disney fan, top four being TLK, Frozen, Bambi and Mulan in that order. Horses are probably my favorite animal, but I of course love all kinds. I've got 3 tattoos and counting, an Icthus, a cowboy hat and a colorful back piece.

My name is Taylor in real life. My love for Lion King, Disney and just the name Nala led me to having my alias. I'm currently a college student as well, my major is marketing and I'm currently a junior. I'm taking four online classes this summer so if I ever disappear randomly during the day I'm probably doing homework. I"m originally from Missouri but me and my boyfriend are living down in Texas for the summer because of a job he got. I don't have any pets right now but in a couple weeks we are getting a Dalmatian puppy which I'm very excited about! His name is going to be Thor because me and my boyfriend are nerds and like Marvel and all that kind of stuff. I've been roleplaying for a very long time, far too long than I'd like to admit. I started off rping Warrior Cats based on the book series by Erin Hunter. After that I moved to other animals such as dogs, wolves and horses. Did a little bit of real life people rping but always loved the animal ones better so I'm back to animals again. Speaking of animals, horses are my favorite animal though I do love all animals. I love to read, write and draw. I've gone some graphic art and just started working on doing photo manips which I'm not very good at yet. I have a deviantart account if anyone is interested at looking at some of my stuff.
I also like to let people know that I'm on the site a lot and if I'm not on then I usually have the site up or I'll be on momentarily and just ran an errand or something. I'm usually home all day doing homework for classes and bored cause my boyfriend works from noon till tenish at night every day except Sunday. So I'm on a lot during the day. Once he gets home though I usually get off so I can see him while he's home. Sundays I probably won't be on much if at all cause that's his only day off and we usually do something together.

Hmm...lets see. Well I am a magical goat, if that does anything for you. Its like a unicorn, but shorter with two magical horns and is a goat. For whatever reason, that makes us less majestic than them. Well, we feed on things like pain and misery, and our blood, bi-products, and powers in return are things of joy and happiness. My icon is a picture of my butler, who is a goat. You can call him Goat Butler. He types for me, because he is a weird goat-humanoid thing with fingers instead of hooves, so this allows me to conserve my energy for magical shenanigans.
Like you guys, I am a college student though I live on the north east coast in a weird urban-country fusionland and am only a wee 19 years of age. Currently, my first semester as a freshman is over, however the accelerated program I am in has allowed me to actually have two years of college already in the bag. I plan to go the full four years regardless, as I heard that it is a once-in-a-lifetime-experience and I plan to have it for as long as possible. My real-life passions are pets, biology, and culture, and the the first two was for a long time what I thought would be my calling as a vet. However, I found out that I have a vasovagal reflex. I'm inherently afraid of blood and injuries, apparently, and exposing myself too much to it will cause me to faint. (Though I do like to torture myself with doctor shows. The heart wants what it wants). My favorite animals are African wild dogs (and I will be having one as a character one day). Earth goats are a close second as they amuse me. I love mostly all rodents and find birds to be interesting, but as far as wild animals go, I tend to just like animals from the African area like Meerkats,cheetahs, hyenas, and honey badgers. I also have an affinity for octopi, bees, and spiders. I have an irrational fear (?) of horses. It started out with just being weary around their legs that I can only explain as saying that they look painful to me for some reason. After I had two nightmares about them just kinda out of the blue, I find myself only able to get into a few feet of one before I get lightheaded. They seem like pretty cool animals though.
I am especially good with dogs. I've had and trained dogs of all sizes and temperaments from a mastiff-great dane mix (my first dog) to Jack Russel Terrier (my last trained dog). I used to volunteer at the local animal shelter where most of my time was spent caring for, bathing, walking, and training the shelter dogs. Not long after I moved, the shelter closed unfortunately. In my last neighborhood, there is a destructive cat infestation, so cats were considered pest animals along with things like raccoons and possums, so I might be one of the only people in the country who doesn't find kittens inherently adorable, though I'm starting to consider having one as a pet...one day.
My interests are quite broadly scattered. I like nerd things, but not all things nerd. Marvel Comics are my love, though I've grown out of touch with some of the newer content. And by newer, I mean anything that was made when I was born and on. I read my father's comics and I'm not too into the movieverse, though I am able to watch the movies without going into a rage over changed content unlike my father. Forgotten Realms books are another love of mine. I love things that are horror; from cheesy horror movies like Evil Dead to Five Nights At Freddy's and psyche/horror animes. I watch Markiplier and Gamegrumps religiously, and will occasionally check out Pewdiepie, Cinnomontoastken and Jacksecpticeye. As far as anime goes, I don't watch and read often enough to be called an otaku, but I am currently enjoying One-Punch Man, Tokyo Ghoul, and Attack On Titan (when I remember to check for updates). My passions that rules over all others listed are Pokemon and Homestuck.
I started rping in 2005 on this site called Neurogalaxy before I even knew rping was a thing. It was my heart, life, and obsession. When it went offline, it killed me inside, but I still had this rp itch to scratch. I was weary of going around online too much, so I spent most of my time rping through IMs with friends the first year. Then I couldn't take it anymore and started fishing around.
Currently, my home rp site is a Jcink site called Dotai Academy. I have been on it for 3 years and I'm completely devoted. I am also on a Pokemon site called the Remoor region. I have had bad luck and even some bad times with canine rps; Two out of three of the big ones I have tried ended badly, the last one made me realize that they aren't my thing. Small sites tend to shut down, but I finally found one that is stable. They have just moved to proboards and we have a surge of new people joining, so I'm working with them to stabilize that situation. After finally finding a canine rp site where I belong, I decided to branch out to feline. The Shattered Ally is where I came from to get here.
And....I think thats it.

Hi there! I am, of course, Nyxcatti. It's a username I made up about a year ago combining Nyx, who is the Greek personification of night, and catti, which is a version of the Latin word for cat. Anything you find on the internet under that name is me. My actual name is Miranda. I'm 22 years old, and almost, almost done with college. I am over the entire experience and ready to not write another essay for a thousand years. What have I learned? How to cheat and doubt everything unless it's sourced. XD
I'm into Jesus, writing, animals, and tattoos. I think the world could use a little more love, and that's what God is. He's not judgement or hate, despite how a lot of Christians act. Writing is my number one hobby, when I'm not roleplaying I'm usually working on my book. I have an Aussie named Rynn and a cat named Vincent. They're pretty amazing. I have nine tattoos in total but I'm not done yet. That includes a Simba, Jurassic Park, a phoenix, paw prints, a horse, 'Love is Beautiful', an icthus, a crown, and a dandelion. My spirit animal is a Siberian Tiger (and yes I plan on making one here sometime). I've had my site, Equidae, active for almost a year now. It's a realistic wild horse RP and I really like being able to bounce back and forth between realistic and fantasy here, as well as predator and prey. Keeps things interesting. I've been roleplaying for about 10 years now, although up until last year I'd never extensively done anything but wolves. I do manips sometimes, and if you're interested you can check me out here.
When I'm not doing any of the things listed above (which is rare), I enjoy video games and watching a few shows like GoT, TWD, and MLP. I'm usually not online much on the weekends, because I spend time with my husband and such. So, yeah, there's a picture of my life.

Well, since everyone else is doing it, I decided to take the time out and introduce myself as well.
Let's see...
I started my roleplaying journey on Neopets LONG ago and absolutely loved it from there. I mainly do animal roleplays (Wolves, Lions, and Horses) though I am open to others as well. Humans aren't usually my thang though, just because I'd rather be out interacting with people than playing one.
I tend not to give out my real name/age online, but I am known as Elmo or Momo usually. Like the vast majority of us, I am a college student as well. I am a senior studying Communication with a minor in Dance. One more semester to go and then I really have to be come an adult. X.X I absolutely LOVE to dance. I do Hip-Hop, Modern, Praise & Worship, and I recently got into Ballet. One day I want to open my own dance studio and teach people to dance. I figure if I can do "Can't Touch This" by Mc Hammer in 4 inch stilettos, I can virtually teach anyone. Haha. Dance is really what makes my heart beat, but I have Comm as a "safety net" of sorts.
I am a self-proclaimed Grammar Nazi and nerd as well. One of the things I say all the time is that "nerds make the world go round." Ask any one of my friends/family/colleagues. I am always editing papers of some sort, explaining definitions, or correcting spelling issues. People do make mistakes though, so I try not to be too demanding ALL the time. I am also a Christian as well, so quite a few of us have this in common. I believe that having a relationship with God is the most valuable thing you can have.
As far as pets go, I only have one doggie. She is a Pit X Lab mix and her name is Dicess. Pits are my favorite type of dogs, and she is absolutely sweet. The Lab is an added benefit.
Cheetahs, Tigers, and Lions are my favorite animals by far. My room and bathroom are decked out in them. I also like canines a whole bunch as well.
The Lion King is my absolute favorite movie in the world, and always will be. It has such powerful lessons about knowing your worth, love, strength and so much more. Lion King is everywhere in my home. When I was little, I ran around the house on all fours and still will go up the stairs like that. I like The Princess & the Frog, Pochahontas, Mulan, Beauty & the Beast, Tangled etc. for Disney movies. I DESPISE Frozen and Snow White with a bloody passion though. Ask me why, I'll tell you in rant mode. . I love love stories so things like The Notebook, 10 Things I Hate About You, Pride & Prejudice, Something New etc. are some of my favorites. I appreciate action movies as well, but my boyfriend has to force me to watch scary movies. I have too vivid of an imagination for that, but I love him anyways.
Umm...my family is a big deal to me, and don't mind hanging out with them. I have two parents (duh) and two brothers. Dicess is considered family too, only much furrier. They've all helped me through so much and I appreciate them a lot.
That's basically it about me. I'm a pretty friendly person and as long as people don't start no stuff, there won't be no stuff with me. Pleasure to meet you all, and I hope we can rp together for a long time. ^^
