COME LITTLE LIGHT
come away to the darkness
A soft growl pressed against the back of the man's throat as he watched his prey. The deer was so innocently oblivious, grazing hungrily at the soft grasses underhoof without a single glance in the lion's direction. Unlike some of the creatures that were built for life in the jungle, Cadoc's soft golden pelt was a blinding beacon amongst the sea of emerald, ready to give his position away should the doe so much as glance in his direction. He had an added advantage however, signified by the coal black stone hanging from his neck. His dark eyes closed and as soon as the thought crossed his mind his body shifted, colors morphing into varying shades of green and brown so that he blended flawlessly with the forest around him. He crawled a step forward, paws crushing the plants beneath and causing the deer to jerk up suddenly in alarm. His lips curled into a smirk as he watched her search for his hidden form in vain, before finally dropping her head back to the ground.
With a roar he pounced, body soaring across the ground with astounding speed and accuracy. He was upon her before she could even lift her head to see him approaching. In a flash of movement his body lifted from the ground, gold and purple washing over him as his pelt shifted back to its normal hue in the blink of an eye. HIs jaws wrapped mercilessly around her throat, thick muscles clenching and crushing her windpipe within seconds. Her mouth gaped to cry out but she was gone before she tried, body falling limp in his muzzle. He twisted his teeth, grinding them against her throat to create punctures from which her sweet blood could flow. The crimson liquid pooled between his lips, warming his throat as he drunk it up voraciously. There was something invigorating about bringing down your own kill, something that the lion didn't get to partake in nearly often enough. Since he'd began gathering followers Cadoc had found himself insanely busy and had delegated tasks such as hunting to others of his kind. He'd had a moment of peace today though, a chance to get out on his own and feel his meal die by his own paws. It was exhilarating and the lion found himself panting when he dropped her body, mouth hanging slightly agape as his dark eyes sparkled with intensity. His body glowed a soft purple, the color across the ridge of his mane pulsating with each ragged breath he took in. It was a magnificent feeling and the lion spared no time drinking it in before dropping his lips to feed on his kill.
While most cats in the jungle relied on their abilities to help them blend in, Nayva was already a natural at staying hidden. Her black pelt marbled with her faint spots blended in perfectly with the shadows the jungle naturally produced. If it weren't for the azure outlined spots on all four of her legs as well as the crown of blue spots crossing her forehead, she'd be pretty close to invisible without even having to call upon her invisibility ability. It wasn't uncommon for the female to enjoy laying in the branches of the trees, legs dangling off either side of her branch while her icy blue eyes scanned the area beneath her for something exciting to come along. So often, prey would wander aimlessly beneath her, not at all aware that she was there and could end their lives with a pounce and an accurately placed bite if she so desired.
They were lucky she wasn't in the mood to hunt. Spared their lives at least. Rising to her paws on her branch overlook, Nayva stretched her lithe black body. Front paws stretching forward as her sharp claws dug into the bark, her chest dipped down towards the branch before she stood upright once more. It was then that she caught sight of something paler in the green forest. Curiosity got the better of her and she took a few steps towards the end of the thick branch so she could get a better view. It was then that she caught a glimpse of the male lion, Cadoc right before his coat shifted to match the greens and browns of the jungle.
Looks like the king is out hunting for himself, she thought with a smirk. It was safe to say she knew the dark king that laid claim upon the dark acheron which housed him and his dark followers. She would be lying if she said she wasn't on his side as well. Being the owner of a black soul stone only left one with so many options as far as allegiances go. While she was allowed in Naxorus, she wasn't very well liked there. How could she be when no matter where she went, her stone reminded everyone just how dangerous and tricky she was. Not that she cared what others thought, but there were times when she liked to be around others of her own... kind.
Gracefully and soundlessly leaping to another branch nearby, Nayva paused and was silent as she watched Cadoc bring down his kill with ease. Finally moving again, she climbed to a lower branch just above the king's head before making her presence known. "Sure hope you're planning on sharing." Nayva purred, her sly smirk never leaving her face and she stretched her body out on her new branch, icy blue eyes taking in Cadoc in all of his panting glory.

COME LITTLE LIGHT
come away to the darkness
There was nothing quite like a fresh kill. The meat just tasted better when it was killed by your own paws, and was so much fresher when devoured immediately before rigor had begun to set in. The lion ripped quickly at the creature's flesh, taking in as much of the meat as he could before he was disturbed. It wasn't uncommon for the blood of a kill to fill the air and attract other predators, and the dark king was rarely in the mood to have to defend him meat from some mangy mongrel that couldn't catch their own. That wasn't quite how he would've described the cat that did invade his presence, however.
The lion didn't hear her so much as he felt her there, suddenly looming overtop of him. The hair along his crest stood on end as the feeling of being watched overwhelmed him, causing his ears to flick back and a low growl to rumble into his chest. Sure hope you're planning on sharing. He stopped eating but he said nothing yet, letting his head swing back so that he could peer up at the intruder. His body lifted, rising and falling with every rapid breath that his starved lungs pulled in. His eyes were trained on her though, brows lifting slowly as he combed greedily over her thick, dark body. He noted briefly her wings as well as the soft, smoky cloud that seemed to emanate from her body itself, then finally the dark stone that lay against her chest. He watched her with a soft smirk as she stretched her long body out on the branch, soft blue markings shining brightly against her obsidian pelt. "Well that depends on if I happen to come across company worth sharing with," he said coolly, words dark and smooth like velvet. His tongue ran briefly across his lips, freeing them of some lingering crimson while just maybe giving insight into his thoughts.
He made no efforts to conceal his hungry eyes as they watched her; if there was something he saw he liked, Cadoc was certainly entitled to look at it as long as he wished. He took a step back from his deer, angling his neck back so that he could catch a better look at her. My was she an attractive beast, built of thick muscle perfectly proportioned around a fine feminine frame. She was clearly well established, a master of dark magic. He wondered briefly how he hadn't met her before, if she was a citizen of the jungle... but perhaps that was just it; she wasn't. A certain hunger stirred in his belly, but it certainly wasn't for deer. "Why not come down where we can chat eye to eye, hmm?" he questioned, head tilting just slightly to the side as his haughty smirk never faltered.
Resting her chin on her front paws once she crossed them on the branch she now resided on, her icy blue eyes didn't leave his form as she too, made it none too obvious of her eyes sweeping over his own golden frame. She knew of the male since she'd become a part of his following so to speak. She however wasn't as fond of being told what to do as the rest of his posse was which meant she still held up residence in Naxorus, even if it was just as a lowly criminal. Her lower class status meant nothing though. Her skills were what set her apart. It wasn't uncommon for her to be paid well to take care of other cats' problems. Her skills ranged from simple thievery to murder. She didn't really have much of a preference just as long as she was paid well.
Knowing others that sought out the dark magics of the soul stones, she'd heard quite a bit about Cadoc even if he'd probably not heard much about her. She'd kept her distance since "joining", making sure she liked what she saw before she made herself know to the dark king. That and she wasn't about to swear allegiance to someone she knew nothing about.
Being a criminal of Naxorus gave her an advantage over the rest of his little subjects. Not only could see keep an eye on the equally handsome king Magnus, she could also keep tabs and the going on's in the city. Because after all, if Cadoc wanted to rule the city at some point, he would need to strike at just the right time when the city and Magnus was at their weakest point. Her errands and spying did become boring at times and she'd wander out into the jungle and sometimes even head to the dark acheron where Cadoc called home. But it had been some time since she'd been there and even when she was there, she stayed out of sight. But now seemed like as good a time as any to reveal herself to him. She'd seen him in action multiple times even if he hadn't been able to see her.
Rolling onto her back on the broad branch, Nayva purred a soft chuckle at his words before tilting her head back so she could lay eyes on him once more. "And do I qualify?" She questioned, smirk still on her lips as she blinked innocently and awaited his approval. She could tell he was liking what he saw and she was not at all shy at flaunting. She knew she was a fine example of her species and the fact that she owned a black soul stone would only draw him in more where it would normally drive others away. "Whatever the dark king commands." She replied, sweeping a paw out in front of her in a bit of a bow. Though her tone held a bit of humor to it, she also wanted him to know that she knew exactly who he was. Rolling back over, she rose to her paws before gracefully jumping to another branch and then to the ground in front of him. "Better?" She questioned once she had reached ground level and came to stand in front of him, smirk still on her lips.

COME LITTLE LIGHT

He eyed her as she moved, body writhing in place on the branch. He noted every ripple in her smooth pelt as muscle tightened beneath it, hungrily drinking in the velvety sound of her laugh as it passed her lips. And do I qualify? His smirk deepened as she questioned him, dark eyes passing across her exposed underbelly as a soft rumble pressed against the back of his throat. It was as if her body was taunting him and he was certainly taking the bait. "I do believe so," he said, smoothly, eyes alight with amusement as he watched her roll herself around and drop onto the forest floor.
Whatever the dark king commands. Better? He lifted a brow slightly as she spoke; she knew him. He wasn't surprised, really, as he was certain word of him would be reaching even the king any time now. He'd tried to conceal his progress in the jungle as much as possible but he wasn't ignorant; word spread and he knew Magnus would know soon enough about the pride he was assembling on his own. He wondered if this jaguar was one of his own though, a member of his dark cause that merely kept herself to the shadows more so than in the open of the temple. Or perhaps she was from Naxorus and nothing more than a black stone wielding criminal. He placed a paw on the side of his skill, as if he was going to scoot it closer to her in offering. HIs claws extending though, pricking into the surface of the creature's flesh and holding it still. How was he to share with someone whose name he didn't even know? "You seem well acquainted with who I am, but I don't so much as know your name?"
He drew his paw back beneath him, smirk ever present as he drew in a breath, lifting himself so that he stood tall in the face of the smaller female. His chest expanded, puffing proudly as he took a slow, calculated step forward. His head turned slightly to the side as he looked down at her, his dark eyes holding her bright pools. "And where exactly do your allegiances lie? It wouldn't be wise to share my meal with a friend of my brother." He paused, as if mulling over the thought. "I don't enjoy sharing the same Earth with my brother's kind, let alone my hard earned food."
Her light blue eyes shimmered with amusement as his own eyes never left her body. She was more than happy for the attention though and gave him a bit of a show. I do believe so. His words brought another soft chuckle to her lips and she soon was on the ground in front of him as he had requested. She sat down in front of him, his kill in between them as she blinked slowly, seeing that his mind was now trying to figure out who she was since she clearly knew who he was. Her own playful smirk never left her face as she let him puzzle over it for a moment.
You seem well acquainted with who I am, but I don't so much as know your name? His puzzling didn't last much longer as he finally asked her for her name. She knew that her name probably meant little out here, though her own large and murderous criminal record in Naxorus did make her name well known there. However, even she didn't know if Cadoc had been out of touch with Naxorus long enough to know her reputation or not. "Nayva. Nayva Aeron." She replied simply, dipping her head a bit as she introduced herself.
She smirked a bit more when he rose to his full height in front of her and she blinked slowly as if he wasn't intimidating her in the slightest. She also wasn't a threat of his and was a female which made her even less of a threat. And where exactly do your allegiances lie? It wouldn't be wise to share my meal with a friend of my brother. She couldn't help but snort with laughter at the idea of being in allegiance with king Magnus. "Your brother wants me arrested and through in a prison cell." She answered, rising to her paws and taking a step towards the lion, her head tilting to the side a bit as she looked up at him, smirk never leaving her face.
I don't enjoy sharing the same Earth with my brother's kind, let alone my hard earned food. A soft sigh escaped her jaws and she sat down once more. "I am the farthest thing from your brother's kind." She answered once more, her tone dark and her smirk twisting her lips even more.

COME LITTLE LIGHT
come away to the darkness
Nayva. Nayva Aeron. He lowered his nose in reply, eyes never leaving hers. "It's a pleasure, Nayva Aeron," he purred, though the name didn't ring a bell. He didn't know the city was where the jaguar came from just yet, but even so it wouldn't have helped his understanding of her. It had been quite some time since he'd left the city and the memories of his time there with it. He wasn't acquainted with her or her story, but her criminal record wouldn't phase him in the least. It may have even be useful; it was always beneficial to have sneaky cats capable of carrying out your dirty work in your ranks.
Your brother wants me arrest and thrown in a prison cell."Then help yourself," he replied coolly, the pleasure evident in his voice as he pressed the deer's hide, scooting it just slightly nearer her in offering. His eyes were dark and intense with interest though, never leaving her face as his smirk reappeared. "I don't seem to have much of an appetite myself anymore though. Not for deer at least," he said, voice growing huskier with his interest as his lips curled into a devilish smirk. It was no secret among his followers that Cadoc had a voracious sexual appetite, and he had no qualms with making his desires known. And this pretty little jaguar was hitting him just right, her body invigorating his senses. He quelled his thoughts for the time being though, interested in knowing more about this Nayva Aeron.
You brother wants me arrested and thrown in a prison cell."And that makes two of us, Nayva Aeron," he replied with a smirk, reclining on his haunches for a minute. "What are you wanted for? And why haven't I met you before? With that pretty little stone around your neck you're far more suited for living in my temple than wherever it is you reside."
It's a pleasure, Nayva Aeron. She dipped her head low when he spoke these words, her blue eyes coming right back to rest on him again. They lingered on his face as she watched the pleasure cross his expression when she informed him of her unfriendly relationship with his brother, Magnus. Then help yourself. Pushing the deer towards her with a large front paw, she licked her lips a bit but it wasn't just because of the deer. She could feel something at work in this feline's head and she was much to interested to be a part of it. Eyes not wanting to leave his, she could feel his gaze on her, not that it was something she wasn't use to. Males commonly looked after her with such desire. And yet, Cadoc's was much deeper, much darker and much more passionate than any male she'd seen before him. That and the fact that she could feel her own desires for him mounting as she lingered under his gaze.
I don't seem to have much of an appetite myself anymore though. Not for deer at least. She knew full well that they were both onto the same conclusion but she held herself back. After all, what kind of lady would she be if she just let any and every male have their way with her? No, that was far from what Nayva did. She was the one in control when it came to men. Yet, she even surprised herself at her own willingness to give up some of her control to him. And that makes two of us, Nayva Aeron, She was grateful for his words as they pulled her back to the present and they'd seemed to have paused their ravenous sexual desires for the moment at least.
And she would be a fool to turn down a free hunk of meat, even if her asking for a bite had only been an excuse to speak with the male. Ripping a section from the deer's flesh, she enjoyed it though her eyes remained on Cadoc, searching his face and skimming over his frame every once and awhile as she chewed. What are you wanted for? And why haven't I met you before? With that pretty little stone around your neck you're far more suited for living in my temple
than wherever it is you reside.
She smirked when he settled back on his haunches and questioned her, curious as to why he hadn't met her before. Taking her time to swallow before licking her lips slowly, teasing his earlier thoughts a bit. "Robbery, murder, you name it." She began, her smirk a bit proud as she thought of all of the many crimes she'd gotten away with so flawlessly. It almost wasn't fair. Almost. "I currently reside in Naxorus. Can't have the fun of being a criminal in the jungle where there aren't any rules to be broken. Kind of ruins the fun, don't you think?" She purred a bit at the thought of trying to steal from those cats that live in the jungle and have few possessions. Out there, stealing wasn't even technically illegal because there was no government to catch the bad guys. What fun was it to be a bad guy if you didn't have the risk of it all.

He could feel the tension building between them as they held each other's stares. His body tensed, the muscles in his stomach tightening as a fire burned across their surface. Testosterone pumped wildly through his veins, and as he watched her eyes never leave him while she fed, he couldn't help but find sensuality in the act. She wanted him too, he deduced, and she was making no efforts to hide it. How long had it been since he'd laid with a woman? Far too long for his liking, certainly, but he hadn't yet found one who'd enticed him so quickly. She was definitely a treat, something special that was worth his time. Like her however he wasn't much for going to bed on the first date so he refrained, switching the direction of the conversation to ease his hungry mind.
I currently reside in Naxorus. Can't have the fun of being a criminal in the jungle where there aren't any rules to be broken. Kind of ruins the fun, don't you think? His lips pulled back into a smirk, head tilting to the side as he watched her feed. "I suppose so. I'm not interested in petty crime though," he said, a sigh pressing through his lips as he looked away, examining a the claws extending from his golden paw before drawing his tongue across it, gently working away the blood that had begun to dry there. He was feigning disinterest, pretending as though her idea of fun bored him. It was purely fun of course, the sarcastic feline merely toying with the girl now that he knew they were utterly ensnared in each others' interest. He let the silence linger for a minute before cracking a smirk, looking back at her and returning his paw to the floor. "Not with bigger fish to fry, anyway. The only place worth wasting my efforts on is the palace itself." He paused, thinking for a moment before speaking again. "Are you interested only in running from the authorities or would you fancy conspiring against them?" he asked her point blank, eyes intense as he stared down at her.
The king had always contemplated trying to find ears to keep in the city while he trained his pride in the jungle. There was no end to the amount of information that the jaguar could provide him if she was willing and were given the opportunity. Perhaps Nayva could be the perfect woman for the job.
I suppose so. I'm not interested in petty crime though. She shrugged, not too surprised that petty crime didn't seem of much interest to him. She pushed away the slightly irritated thoughts, since she wouldn't call murder much of a petty crime. But he was looking for far bigger and better mode of crime. That and his sarcastic smirk made her irritated thoughts quickly slip away and she silently scolded herself for even thinking such things. He was only toying with her of course.
Not with bigger fish to fry, anyway. The only place worth wasting my efforts on is the palace itself. Nayva licked her lips to get any remaining blood off before she spoke, her mind already running wild with plans of how he might be able to help her get to her general father she so desperately wanted to kill for what he did to her mother. And what was even better was that they could help each other out. He wanted to get to the king and she wanted to get to the king's top army adviser.
Her mind was already running wild with plans but she put them to a halt when he spoke once more, saying exactly what she was hoping he would say. No lying or twisting his words, just outright. Are you interested only in running from the authorities or would you fancy conspiring against them? Rising to her paws, she took the few steps needed to come stand in front of him, her smirk lifting the corners of her mouth as her icy blue eyes came to rest on him. "I'm all ears." She purred.

COME LITTLE LIGHT
come away to the darkness
His belly tightened as she moved closer and the big cat mentally scolded himself. Control yourself Cadoc. His subconscious was smirking too, poking fun at his own voracious appetite. He drew in a breath, breathing out his frustration as her silky voice caressed his ears again. I'm all ears.
Cadoc shrugged; the implications were simple. "I just figured we could help each other out. I'm going to kill him some day, and I think you'd enjoy having a part in such an exciting and unexpected coup. It would help to know what's going on in Naxorus, but as of yet I haven't any way of knowing what the palace residents are up to. I've cut all ties to the city, as everyone knows my face. You though, can mingle quietly without being discovered," he replied, shifting his weight as his eyes burned alight. The events played in his mind, scenes of murder and destruction flashing across his conscious as he tail flicked excitedly. The eagerness in his heart was visible in his eyes and his voice, the anticipation of what was to come apparent. He couldn't wait to sink his teeth into that traitor's throat, to crush his lying windpipe between his powerful jaws. He'd take the whole city down if he had to; with his followers increasing in number every day, he'd build a new one if he had to. And as he sat there looking at Nayva, he considered that he might want her there alongside him through it all.
"I have to strike when the city is at its weakest and Magnus has diminished forces to support him. You could gather the intel required to make the decision of when to strike, while I train the dark-seekers here in the jungle," he said, lips curled into a devilish smirk as he finished his proposition. His expression morphed into something a little deeper though as he lifted a paw, turning it so that he could slowly drag his fingers across her cheek, tracing them along her jawline before pulling away. "You'll have to come visit me though."
I just figured we could help each other out. You though, can mingle quietly without being discovered. Her icy blue eyes lit up at his words and her smirk only grew as he spoke, painting of picture of something she'd never dreamed of before. She didn't want to get her hopes up though because she normally never allowed herself to think about what she would do once she'd killed her general father. She had to focus on getting to him first. She nodded, the excitement as clear in her eyes as it was in Cadoc's. "Yes, yes. I'll do it on one condition. The general of the Naxorus army. He's mine." She added, her voice gaining a dark and twisted tone to it as she imagined the glorious day she would get revenge.
I have to strike when the city is at its weakest and Magnus has diminished forces to support him. You could gather the intel required to make the decision of when to strike, while I train the dark-seekers here in the jungle. Nayva nodded, a soft purr rising up in her throat as he laid out his plan. It could work, it would work. With him training an army of dark followers and Nayva spying on the king as well as the movements of the army, she'd get her revenge as would Cadoc. "Yes, and I may have a few connections that could help stir up trouble along the borders to draw out some of Magnus' forces." She replied, leaning towards him a bit, her icy blue eyes glittering with dark intentions. "Plus I've got a few friends that would be grateful to join a force that promises a change in leadership." Nayva added, already making a mental list of possible candidates to join Cadoc's cause.
His fingers slid along her cheek and down to her chin before he spoke again. You'll have to come visit me though. She tilted her head to the side with a soft smirk as if she couldn't believe he would think she would never visit. "Of course, my king." She purred, leaning a bit closer as she spoke the words as if they were a dark secret between the two of them.

COME LITTLE LIGHT

He knew from the moment the words began to spew from his lips that she was taking the bait. He saw her face animate with excitement, her eyes lighting up and burning with a mischievous hunger. He leaned in as he spoke, his own body reacting to his words as his eagerness overwhelmed him. He would fight his brother tomorrow if the opportunity was right; the sooner he got that fool off of the throne the better. He grinned at her as she agreed, though it morphed into a smirk at her dark words. Yes, yes. I'll do it on one condition. The general of the Naxorus army. He's mine. He lifted a brow. "Ohhh, it seems like someone has a bone to pick with Sir Nero," he said with mild amusement, completely unaware of the connection between the two cats. "Might I ask what the scoundrel did to get on your bad side?"
Yes, and I may have a few connections that could help stir up trouble alone the borders to draw out some of Magnus' forces. Plus I've got a few friends that would be grateful to join a force that promises a change in leadership. Cadoc smirked, reclining back on his haunches again with a haughty smirk. "Fantastic. Be sure to spread the word; I will train anyone in their soul stone that wishes to come join us at the temple," he said, eyes alight with the prospect of gaining new recruits. The more felines living in the temple under his rule the better.
Then their contact took a more personal turn, the big male leaning in so that he could could the woman's face, palm cupping her face for a brief moment before pulling away. She leaned as well, whispering as their eyes held contact, the fire burning between them nearly palpable. He groaned gently in the back of his throat, a hungry rumble as he pulled away. "I fear I may overstep my boundaries if we don't part ways, Miss Aeron," he purred huskily as he pulled away. He lifted himself onto his paws, taking a step nearer. His eyes were dark as he peered down at her, smirk scrawled across his lips as he leaned in so that his breath was hot against her onyx ear. "Return to me prepared though, for I'm being polite today, but might not restrain myself next time." His words had heavy, dark implications and the king found himself looking forward to the next time he'd see the dark feline.
He pulled away, leaning down so that he could manuever his kill over his head, balancing the heavy dead creature across his shoulders so that he could take it back to his followers. He turned back to her after he'd secured the carcass. "Gather what information you can about palace guard and return to me when you grow bored of the city."

Nayva could tell that he was glad she was all for joining the plot. She would definitely be an asset to him, that much she knew without him even having to tell her. Though she doubted he would ever admit to actually needing her. Needing someone else was weakness. At least that's how Nayva had grown up to realize. Ohhh, it seems like someone has a bone to pick with Sir Nero. A slight growl rose up from deep within her chest when Cadoc spoke her father's name. She'd already spent quite a bit of time spying on the general and learning everything she could about him, especially his fighting style and techniques. That way when she did face him, she would have the upper hand.
Might I ask what the scoundrel did to get on your bad side? Cadoc's words pulled her out of her plots and she thought for a brief moment whether it would be wise to tell him her plans but then she realized there wasn't a lot she had to risk. And she didn't see Cadoc letting the general escape simply to enrage Nayva. Plus, he seemed like he wouldn't want to intentionally piss her off. She wasn't one you'd want to have as an enemy. "He's my father. And he killed my mother." She answered simply, her eyes ablaze as her memories attempted to flood her mind and she forced them back.
Fantastic. Be sure to spread the word; I will train anyone in their soul stone that wishes to come join us at the temple. She nodded in reply to his words, her expression brightening a bit at the thought of what the future would bring rather than what her father had done all those years ago. There was no point dwelling on those memories now. It wasn't long before the delicious tension between them returned and she couldn't help but lick her lips a bit as the two of them got closer. I fear I may overstep my boundaries if we don't part ways, Miss Aeron, Nayva tilted her head to the side a bit as her icy blue eyes ran over his body once more. "What a shame." She answered with a teasing tone.
Return to me prepared though, for I'm being polite today, but might not restrain myself next time. A soft purr escaped her lips as she felt his hot breath on her ear. "I look forward to it." She answered, brushing against him softly before pulling away. Her eyes watched him adjust his kill onto his shoulders. Gather what information you can about palace guard and return to me when you grow bored of the city. Rising to all fours, she stretched her front legs out in front of her, her belly brushing against the ground and her hind end in the air before she straightened up. "I know where to find you." His brow pulled together, gentle concern flashing across it as he empathized with the jaguar."My, it seems we're more well suited than I realized. We're nearly in the same boat, except it was my mother that killed my father. I assume you already knew that though; everyone does," he said as he glanced away, and unreadable emotion filling his features. Due time," he replied with a wink, settling his deer more comfortably before taking a step nearer her. I know where to find you. He smirked and nodded, letting the side of his body brush against hers as he started to walk past her. His tail flicked upward, tapping against her chest before their contact ended and he was stepping away from her, returning into the thick of the forest. "Until we meet again."
