APPEARANCE

A pale yellow-orange with a series of black spots.
Deep amber eyes. Rose is much smaller than the average cheetah and has a small, slender build. She has striking amber eyes and long black lines that lead from her eyes to her nose, appearing like tear stains.

Rosealia is a rather small, yet beautiful she cat. Her body is long and slender, holding to a very slim fit under her fur due to her exercise. Her body is a little out of proportion with her extremely long legs that connect to much smaller and nimble paws. Due to the fact that she is a cheetah, her claws do not retract completely like most of the other big-cat breeds. Her coat has a short length for the warmer temperatures, being only about half an inch long per hair. The main color of her coat is a pale-yellow or honey-like color that is covered in a series of circular black spots. Her head is small with very large, deep amber eyes. Where her tear ducts meet her face, she has long, thin strands of black that course down her face and around her cheekbones, stopping just below her chin on both sides. Surprisingly, both sides and stripes are almost equal. Aside from a few, close together patches of spots, her face is mostly a solid cover.

Rose is the kind of cat with a lot of very difference traits. First and foremost, she is a very adaptable feline. She is the kind of cat that you can throw into a majority of different situations and she will be able to keep a calm and cool, to adapt to what is going on around her as well as the situations. Because of this, she is good at taking over leadership roles when they are on unfamiliar ground and managing to keep her head and not worry too much. Rose is also very strategic. This basically means that she is good at coming up with quick, combat / hunting ideas at pretty much any given time. This allows her brain to work quick and usually, this leaves her quite intelligent as well. However, when it comes to social well-beings and tolerating others stupid needs, she can be a little impatient. This makes it so that she doesn't get along well with cubs and adolescents that go around and do crazy things that children like to do. She just doesn't have the patience to tolerate all of the nonsense with a cool head.



While she can communicate well when spoken to, Rose isn't the kind of cat to speak out. When her pride needs her, she will be more than willing to step up and use her knowledge to do whatever she can to help. However, when it comes to meeting others and going out of her way to make conversation, she shuts down a little too much. Basically, she is quiet and will usually keep to herself. She loves the hunt, and will spend most of her spare time providing what ever she can for the other felines. But, she never truly will go up to another and strike up a conversation, that's for them to do. But, once she is spoken to, she is good at keeping the conversation moving. And finally, Rose is slightly insecure in herself. She knows she is a good hunter and is always willing to pass along her abilities, but with everything else, she is unsure about and become anxious when pressured. This makes her quite aggressive and a ticking time bomb when someone either puts her on the spot with personal questions. She can also easily lose her temper when she is accused straight up of something she didn't do. In other words, she is quick to take to the defensive side. 

HISTORY

Cheetahs are known for their independence and the fact that they grow up with a family, only to go their separate ways, and Rosealia's family was no different. Like most she cats of her species, Rose's mother met with her father in the heat of breeding season. But, once she found out she was pregnant, went back to her home in the jungle where she would deliver her kits. A bit later, she would give birth to two beautiful, healthy cheetah cubs. The first born was the strong and healthy Zeus, named for his authority over his sister, that he gave off only a day or so after his birth. Rose was a much sweeter and quieter kit. She was much smaller than her brother, and learned to give in quick to his dominance games, often resulting in her pinned to the ground, whining pathetically. However, as time went by and she grew up, Rose learned that her small size, yet long legs, allowed her to outrun her brother, as she was quick and stealth like over obstacles at his size would usually slow him down.



It was only when she was about two years old that she learned to fight back and the two began to quarrel constantly. After dealing with his violence for her whole life, while her mother did nothing to stop it, she began to fight back, and it appeared that every time they encountered one another, the fur was flying. It was in that time that the family began to break apart, like it should have done when the cubs became yearlings. Zeus was the first to leave, fleeing a little too willingly from his family and into the open world. Her mother followed soon after, though it was nothing fancy since she never really mothered the cubs anyway. It was just another mistake on her part. However, it was after the family was gone that Rose began to realize how bad she wanted the companionship in the first place. Maybe that was why she had put up with it for so long.



Now, in her early stages of a three year old, Rosealia has been wandering around the jungle she has always called home, searching for a pride or a group that she could travel with. Maybe, just maybe, she would be able to build up another, more loyal family.
