We are an advanced feline and canine rp site that takes place in the lost jungles of Vikos. The life forces of the canines and felines living here are tied to their soul stones. With their soul stone, they are able to grow in power and strength. Without it, they will weaken and die. Many abilities and powers can be acquired from the soul stones. How powerful you get, is up to you though.

FALL - The temperature is starting to fall a bit as it starts to cool off. The sun isn't as hot and the relief from the heat is much needed.

The young cheetah wasn't much for the packed forests and all the objects in her path. But, ever since she was separated from her family, she was more than ready to get out of that painfully familiar desert-like plateau. She had lived in the jungle her life, just a much more clear and open part of it. But, now she found herself in it's heart - trees surrounding every corner. And where there wasn't a tree, there was bushes, fallen logs, and swamps. It was more than she was used to seeing, and to be honest, it was an adventure in itself. Her paw-steps were smooth, strides long as she tugged herself along the path. Her head was high and her thin fur was spiked up around her shoulder points and along her neck. The short length along with the gentle breeze made it look like she still had a cubs fluffy coat, all though she had never really outgrown its soft touch anyways.
Continuing along her path, she stopped suddenly, round ears peeling forward to pick up every little sound. Just beyond a bush, there was a quiet shuffling, and when she parted her jaws, the warm scent of squirrel flooded in. She allowed her body to move on instinct, falling back on her haunches and allowing her claws to pull silently against the earth. Her movements were ghost like along the shadows, her deep amber eyes wide open as she paced along the forest. Only when she was a few tail lengths away from her prey, the squirrel moved it's head alertly. Without giving it time to react, the cheetah flew forward, her tail straight out behind her for balance. Her paws flew across the ground, her extended nails digging into the dirt and pulling her forward.
Finally, when it looked like her target was going to get away, she extended her fore-paw tripping it over it's own paws and sending it tumbling. Without hesitating, the cheetah flew forward, latching her jaw around the wind pipe of the struggling creature and biting down as hard as she could. Slowly, she waited for it to suffocate. When she felt it's heart beat stop, she set the kill on the ground, placing a paw over it in triumph. Then, she sat with her head held high, body lowered onto her haunches, and her jaws parted as she caught her breath. It was the best catch she had had in a while.

"Hear Me Roar"
Tejas stared ahead to the thicker and darker portion of the forest with his head lowered and his tail tucked to his side. With all the will in his heart, he surely hoped his sisters weren't anywhere in these parts. It was jungle life on hard mode. But he couldn't ignore the possibility, so he grit his teeth and trudged through it.
The only time he had ever came to these parts was that last hunt with him. He had to find his way back home through it in the darkness of the night, and it certainly wasn't pleasant. He wasn't any sissy cat who would get scared in his own home, but that didn't mean there weren't parts that just weren't worth it.
As he internally cringed at every sound of the jungle, Tejas couldn't help but to lift his head curiously a...leopard? No, it couldn't be. The shape and spots weren't right. Whatever she was, she was tiny and fluffy and cute like a cub. She seemed to be entertaining herself with a squirrel...squirrel? Oh no...
Tejas quickly scanned the bushes and the tree trunks in a panic. He nearly missed it, but at the very corner of his eye he caught the strange coiling of a rather animated vine. Tejas' blood ran cold at the sight, but at the moment he had the ultimate drop. He could really play it any way, couldn't he? But looking at how she was just relishing in her catch...
He pounced forward suddenly, a growl released from her lips from effort and concentration rather than aggression. His front paws dropped down on the cold muscled head of the viper. Its cool body suddenly was pooling a large amount of heat as blood began to puddle around his paws.
"What the hell do you think you are doing, fluffy?!" He growled, adrenaline still coursing through his veins. "You can't just hunt the snake's food unless you want it to be your last meal!" Tejas turned his face up and rose his paw and wiped it against a nearby tree.
It was a pleasing catch, she had to admit that. Of course, she would much rather be in the moorland where the deer and other swift animals were running about. But, for now, a squirrel would do. Delicately, she lowered her haunches back to the ground, arching her body up until she was in a laying position with her kill between her paws. Her tongue ran over her lips lightly until she found her energy and began to pluck the fur from the kill. She took her time - running her tongue along the fur to flatten it, and then using her smaller teeth to luck out the stray hairs. With nothing on her mind and nowhere to be, there wasn't any reason to rush her kill.
However, all of a sudden a snarl sounded behind her and without even waiting, she arched her body over her kill and deep snarl sounded in her throat. Her jaws parted as she looked around to find where the source of the sound had come from. Her eyes landed on a large tiger-cat. His deep stripes were glossy and smooth, telling her he was young - probably younger than her. Between his large paws lay a viper, the snake now dead in it's own pool of blood. But, the cheetah cat was confused. She opened her jaws to speak, but instead it was the male who had words for her.
"What the hell do you think you are doing, fluffy?!"
A low hiss rung in the cheetah's throat, her neck fur fluffing up defensively. "Didn't your mommy ever tell you to pick on cat's your own size, cub?" She snarled, the venom and agitation in her voice denying the small body she lived in. She ignored his next comment, though he was right. She hadn't even seen the snake. If he hadn't killed it, who knew what could have happened. Her tail slashed wildly behind her. Even if he did save her tail, she wasn't backing down.

"Hear Me Roar"
The cheetah, surprised by his sudden actions had launched herself into the offensive. She had gone from cute kitten thing to full on furball. As she faced him, he was finding that she wasn't so cute after all. She definitely wasn't a cub of any jungle cat he had ever seen before. He wasn't even really sure if she was a cub anymore. 'The nerve of some cats, right?' He thought to himself as he lowered his lids lowered into a glare in annoyance. To think he had put himself on the lines for some snippy adult. One bite and it would have been over for either of them...His lips curled into a smirk, not seeing it worth fighting over. All cats, big or small, had claws and sometimes it just wasn't worth the scratches.
" Nah, she was too busy teaching me where we hunt and where they hunt." He remarked, slipping his paw under the lifeless body and tossing the viper corpse in her direction with a huff. "And why don't you follow your own advice when you hunt? I've picked stuff out between my teeth thats meatier than that." He walked passed her, not giving her meal another glance while looking up at the thick branches of the trees. He could see the form of a few monkeys dart above them into the thickness of the leaves. He had a feeling that this mystery cat wasn't from around these parts-if she was even from this jungle- and decided to give her a little lesson despite her attitude. Travelling to a different part of the jungle was rough enough when you know all the rules, after all. "This is where the tree hunters hunt. Anything that touches the grounds belong to the snakes. The gorillas live here too, and they don't like any cat big enough to make a meal out of their babies." Turning to take a look at her size once again, he shook his head. " They wouldn't think twice about tossing either of us into the sun, y'know."
